DUDE, I have totally had this thought (but never with my current job).

Plus You Wouldn't Have to Go to the Gym!

from Overheard in the Office

Coworker #1: Ugh. I don't feel like being at work today.
Coworker #2: I know. Don't you ever wish you could just fall out of bed in the morning and break both your legs so you could take a sick day?

That cracks me up!

It reminds me of high school when my sister and I were going to be hella late coming home on the weekends and we would contemplate wrecking our car.

We weren't very bright teenagers.

This is why I sometimes hang around sick people. Maybe I'll catch a cold and have to stay in bed and watch all the stuff backlogged on my Tivo. I mean, how much would THAT suck.

You should not tempt fate by mentioning getting a cold; the Upper Respiratory Infection gods will laugh maniacally and make you so sick you will fantasize about dying. And when one has a death wish, it makes it very difficult to enjoy The Office.

This is also why you can never ever say something like "my grandma died", bad karma.
