I love me some office supplies too! I order them for our department & I get all kinds of excited when I see the box in the mail room. pathetic? probably, but I don't care!!
At my previous job, one of my responsibilities was ordering more office supplies as we needed them; the Quill catalog was like my Wish Book. Pretty pens! Fancy folders! When the UPS man would deliver the boxes and boxes of supplies, it was like Santa delivering presents on Christmas morning. Stuff to open!! WHEE!!!!
That was the only fun thing about that job. As such, I was chastised for ordering too much too often. Boo.
I have a feeling that will happen to me soon too! ;) They will open my overhead in my cubicle & see the stashes of fancy pens, cds (to burn music on at work), fancy stapler ... then they will notice my comfy (ahem, expensive!) back pillow for my chair. Sheesh. I hope none of them read this blog. ha!
